Ivana BARAĆ (f), L.L.M. is a Teaching Associate at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, teaching Family Law at undergraduate level. She is also involved in assisting with the Legal Clinic related to Family Law, aimed to provide free of charge legal aid for citizens. At the very same faculty, she completed her undergraduate studies and master studies with honors, as a receiver of both national scholarships and the Saint Sava Award for Best Students. She has participated in various moot court competitions, including the European Law Moot Court and the Willem C. Vis Moot Court, in which she was awarded with the Pieter Sanders award for one of the best written memorandums, along with her teammates. Also, Ivana was one of the coach assistants for the Belgrade’s Vis Moot Team in 2018. She was an associate in one of the top law firms in Belgrade, Serbia. She has participated in various conferences and seminars, and written several papers, some of which include “Mediation and arbitrations, as ADR mechanisms with a special perspective on mediation for resolving family disputes” and “The position of women related to motherhood and childbearing – international legal standards and a reflection of their influence on national legal standards”. She speaks fluent English and has a good command of both French and Spanish.
